I have a map for you. It shows a dungeon or underground prison for the bad people in your kingdom. The beds are watched by the guards at the guard post and when its time to eat they can go through the iron gates to the tables. The place to access the dungeon is that staircase there. When you finish your dungeon you can move on to the next step. Lets build the ground floor.
Next we have the ground floor. On the ground floor you have the entrance, The table and some banners. You can craft your own banners. The main entrance is to your design. As is every other floor of your castle. But what you do need in your castle I can tell you. I can also list some designs for you.
OK, so in your castle keep I have some rooms for you.
Must-haves
- kitchen
- banquet hall
- royal throne hall
- royal beds
Should-haves
- Library
- Armoury
- roof terrace (no plants)
- enchantment room
- Bathroom
Could-haves
- royal stables
- Servants bedrooms
- guest bedrooms
Now for the style. One style is Germanic style where it has lots of light-coloured bricks and towers, or a defensible castle with dark coloured bricks and lots of weapons. If invaders are a problem, you can have the heavy defences castle keep which is lots of dark bricks, preferably obsidian or nether brick, with very small, enclosed towers, so a small chance that somebody will shoot your soldiers and prevent them from defending the castle. On my opinion, the heavy defence is best for online players but for NPC* worlds the benevolent Germanic style would do nicely. I hope you enjoyed this guide. See you soon!
*NPC stands for No Player Castle
